Important Update for Those Attending Karen Strange’s “Midwifery Management of Neonatal Resuscitation” session

NEW BOOK AND TESTING INFORMATION

According to AAP/NRP, there is no longer a difference between someone taking the class for the first time and those renewing–everyone is the same from here on out.  As of January 1, 2012, all AAP/NRP courses will use the 6th Edition Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation.  You must read chapters 1-4 & 9 and complete the online examination for those chapters.  The online exam must be completed within 30 days of the class date.  Once you have passed, you will need to print out a verification form and bring that verification form to class.  You must take the test before you come to class and print out the verification form and bring it to the class or you will not be admitted into the class.

You must read and test on chapters 1-4 & 9.  You do not have to buy the book but you do need to read it.  The book/eBook can be purchased at: Purchase book here.

The online test costs $23.50 and that goes directly to AAP/NRP.  You must take the exam within 30 days of the class.  Once you begin the exam, you have 14 days to complete and pass tests 1-4 & 9.  After 14 days, the online exam becomes invalid and requires payment to begin again.  DO NOT start the online exam the night before the test!  Past students have had technical difficulties and have not been able to complete the exam and you will not be admitted without the verification form.  For instructions and information about how to take the online exam, click here: www.aap.org/nrp/pdf/NRPexam.pdf

Notice for those working on documentaries and similar projects

We realize many of you are working on worthwhile projects, but we no longer allow documentaries to be filmed as a part of our conferences or interviewing of any of our speakers before, during, or after the conference itself.  We appreciate you cooperation in this matter.  If you desire to interview or film any of our speakers for any reason, you must see the conference staff to receive permission PRIOR to asking a speaker for their cooperation.

Featured Events Combo Special

This Combo Special includes tickets to all our featured events. It is only $105 for pre-purchase; $130 if purchased at the door (or after April 1, 2012). You may also order tickets for each featured event separately. The prices are as follows:

Raffle Donations Are Being Accepted

We are accepting gift certificates, purchased items and offers that range in price from $25 to $250.  All raffle donors will be listed in a youtube video, on our website and throughout the conference as we advertise the raffle to those in attendance. Silent Auction Donations Are Being Accepted

From the Heart Silent Auction items, which are all handmade, are on a You tube video for everyone to see in advance.

We are now accepting donations for the auction.  Each item must be hand made with love and valued at no less than $15 per item.  Silent Auction donors will be listed in a youtube video and be seen on the website and all throughout the conference as we advertise the auction to those in attendance.
