Friday, March 12… Don’t miss our special Awards Banquet!

Current graduates will be honored at the banquet. Graduating from AAMI is really quite an accomplishment, and we would like to honor their hard work.

Awards Dinner tickets are $100. Bring your friends and family… they won’t want to miss this incredible evening!

The banquet is worth dressing up for… it is an opportunity to share some time with the rest of the conference attendees while enjoying a delicious meal. The meal provided at the 2008 conference was spectacular.

We will be honoring Dr. Sarah Buckley for her wonderful contributions to helping women trust birth. 
She will be presenting our keynote speech: Trust Your Body; Trust Your Baby; Trust Birth

Watch for opportunities to show your appreciation by helping to sponsor dinner for your favorite speakers and AAMI faculty.

Sunday, March 14 – Round Table Luncheon

One amazing speaker will be seated at each table prepared to discuss a specific topic (or to answer general questions). Each person seated at the table will be given two tokens. They can use a token to ask a question on the topic or a general question their round table speaker can answer. Once the tokens are used, they must yield the time to others to be able to use their tokens (this way, everyone has equal opportunity to be heard and to participate in the discussion and prevents individuals from monopolizing the speaker’s time and energy). Each person will pay $30 for their Round table ticket which includes a marvelous lunch and small group time with a very knowledgeable birth worker. 10 people will have the opportunity to sponsor a table ($250) and based upon first register basis, will be able to choose which speaker they have at their table and to suggest a main topic for their table to discuss (plus some wonderful advertising bonuses).

The speakers available for the Sunday Round Table Luncheon are Dr. Sarah Buckley, Gloria Lemay, Claire Hall, Gail Hart, Karen Strange, Laura Shanley, Pamela Hines Powell, Carla Hartley, and Jody McLaughlin. In addition to the speaker, each table can seat 9 people.
Luncheon guests will be assigned to a table and we will do our best to accommodate groups that desire to stay together at the lunch if possible. However, everyone must be prepared to sit wherever assigned if not possible.

$30 per person for a luncheon ticket (includes wonderful meal and small group time with a wonderful speaker. Each person will have equal opportunity to participate in the conversation/discussion time)

$250 table sponsorship (only 10 available)-includes your choice of speaker (based upon availability) and suggestion of main topic; plus advertisement of your business in the conference material, listing on the Trust Birth Initiative and Conference websites for two full years, and a link to your site at the Trust Birth websites.



Sunday, March 14 - Stragglers Dinner

Are you one of those people who never wants the joy and excitement to end?

Then join Carla Hartley, your Trust Birth Founder, Kristi Zittle, the conference coordinator, and Dr. Sarah Buckley, the keynote speaker, for a late evening dinner after the conference closes.  Enjoy a meal at the Cheesecake Factory directly across the street from the beautiful conference hotel and have some fun and great fellowship with some of the ladies with which you have enjoyed spending the weekend.

Anyone is welcome to attend and everyone will pay their own way.  You must bring cash for your meal (average meal per person with drink and tip is between $15 and $25) as they will only do one check for large groups; and we must know you are going to join us so we can give “The Factory” a head count long before we arrive.

Simply email Kristi with your intent to join the “Stragglers” on Sunday evening or you can make a note of your intent when you register online.

The group will meet in the hotel lobby at 6:45p and walk to the restaurant together.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.  The more the merrier–all are welcome!
